Fujiyama Japanische Spezialitaeten in Kleve

After a long time I ordered sushi again and was absolutely disappointed. Both in terms of taste and appearance (the eye eats too) the € 40 was definitely too much! Maybe we just had a bad day - we hope so, therefore 2 stars instead of (no) one ...

"Fujiyama" is an appealing Japanese restaurant that has far more to offer than most sushi temples that just call themselves a restaurant. The menu is very extensive and full of delicious little things from which you can put together your own menu - not only sushi, but also beef or poultry specialties. The ambience has a Japanese feel, although you sit on chairs at the table in Europe. The staff is very attentive and friendly - you immediately feel at home. The "Fujiyama" is not cheap, but worth every penny - a pleasant change from the countless Asian restaurants with the same buffet! The "Fujiyama" is a top address!

Come here every month and are very satisfied it takes some getting used to with the new menu but the food is no less Very good food for little money If you don't like sushi, they have plenty of other dishes too

Really recommendable! The sushi is delicious and nicely presented. The warm dishes are also very tasty. So far we have only pre-ordered and picked up, there is nothing to complain about regarding the handling. The staff is also very friendly. Simply top!

We are really happy that it was reopened after months. We tried a few alternatives during the restrictions on COVID-19, but no one could get to Fujiyama.

Friendly staff, acceptable food. If you want to have dinner with friends it's fine, if you want to experience Japanese cuisine look elsewhere. The vegan options are sushi or slightly overpriced fried tofu with vegetables.

Very bad sushi ... We went because we saw the rate. 80 euros in such a simple untasty sushi. If you know what good sushi is, don't go.Not recommended!

They are super friendly. The sushi chef loves making sushi and the raw fish are super fresh. The portion of sushi rice on their nigiri or maki is the actual balanced portion of rice-fish. It is not common to have thick rice in sushi. They have done very well!! The staff is really friendly and we enjoyed all their maki sushi, nigiri, gyoza, seaweed salad etc. The only complain would have is their tempuras. The tempura batter is incorrect, it should be fluffy and light, not a bulk of fried flour. I hope they improve that. We have been going there since they opened. Never had a bad experience.

A nice Japanesee resturant offering a wide range of traditional food: sushi, bentos, etc. With daily deal, lunch hours where they offer special bento boxes and sushi menues. Its a great plase for a fast lunch or a realaxing dinner.

The sushi are good with perfect rice-fish ratio. Never disappointed.
